Description: Known as the ribbed sage, this salvia has strongly textured grey green foliage. Vivid deep blue flowers in later winter through summer.
Growing conditions: Best in a well-drained, sunny position. Should be pruned in spring or summer. Fertilise with blood and bone in spring. Mature plants tolerate frost to -5degrees, although some burning may occur.
Comments: Perfect for a cottage garden.
